- Depending on the damage; remove damage by sanding and prime the area ready for paint.
Step 3.
- Select the exact colour, paint and dry under heat lamps
- Apply 3 coats of clear lacquer and fully dry
Step 4.
- Re-inflate the tyre and check for correct tyre pressure. Re-fit the tyre back on vehicle

After care of your alloy wheels
DOs and DON’Ts – How to care for your wheels or bodywork repairs
Washing or cleaning your wheels after repair
DO… Only wash with warm soapy water and rinse.
DON’T…. After a mobile unit has made a repair to your wheels you are well advised to keep away from the drive in, drive out car wash. They will spray acid and then jet wash. This could possibly blow the lovely new lacquer straight off the repaired area.
This will void any guarantee.
If you put this jet wash lance to your hand it would hurt, so don’t put it close to your vehicle. It will only cause damage and the acid will cause ageing of the lacquer dulling or even peeling.
